Dr. Spence's Legacy at Evangel University

I served as cinematographer on a short documentary covering Dr. Spence's presidency at Evangel University. The shoot came together under difficult circumstances — on the scheduled filming day, all five of my teammates came down with COVID-19, leaving me to conduct the interviews alone.

I interviewed Dr. Jon Spence, son of former president Dr. Spence, who shared personal reflections on his father's legacy. Dr. Jon had been both a mentor and teacher to me, which made the conversation meaningful beyond just the project itself. A team member handled the interview with President Taylor separately on a different day as a precaution.

Despite the remote coordination and communication challenges that came with everyone being sick, we completed the documentary on deadline.
