While the World Slept follows Charlie, a young bookstore employee who — after a mysterious accident — begins noticing something deeply wrong with the people around him. Drawn into a group who believe a hidden event has left the world emotionally hollow, Charlie joins their effort to reverse it, confronting increasingly dangerous obstacles along the way.

On this production I served as BTS Photographer and Camera Operator, and made a brief appearance as a background extra. Working alongside Director of Photography Jayce McQueen was one of the more valuable experiences of my early career — shooting on the Canon C100 for the first time and learning how to push the camera's capabilities in a narrative setting.
The skills I developed under Jayce's direction carried directly into Out of My Mind, where I later stepped into the DP role myself.
